We are currently recruiting a Senior Accountant for a premium fashion brand in Munich.

We are partnering with a premium fashion brand based in Munich, established in 2012 and part of an internationally operating fashion group. The company acts as a commercial agency for the DACH region and provides sales management services across the Nordics, overseeing and driving market activities in these areas. It operates retail stores in Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich as well as outlet locations in Ingolstadt, Mendrisio, Metzingen, Neumünster, Parndorf and Wertheim.
Responsibilities:
Reporting & performance management: Preparation, analysis and steering of decision-relevant key metrics to support operational and strategic management; ongoing assessment of opportunities and risks; ensuring consistent reporting towards internal and external stakeholders.
Vendor & contract management / general administration: Management of relevant external contractual relationships; ensuring consistent commercial frameworks; acting as the central point of contact for external stakeholders (e.g. advisors, auditors, authorities, banks,) in administrative and financial matters.
Liquidity & payment management: Ensuring forward-looking liquidity planning and orderly execution of payment processes.
Financial governance & accounting: Overall responsibility for financial accounting, tax matters, closing processes, and coordination of audits.
HR administration & labor law compliance: Responsibility for administrative HR topics and ensuring compliance with labor law and occupational health & safety requirements.
Payroll, tax & social compliance: Ensuring proper execution of payroll-related obligations and compliance with tax and social security regulations.
B2b business steering, market development & customer responsibility: Overall responsibility for revenue and condition planning; steering of sales activities and ensuring consistent management of business partners within the agency model.
Receivables & risk management (b2b): Monitoring and steering of receivables; ensuring an appropriate risk profile in the wholesale business.
Retail performance management: Responsibility for revenue planning and realization in physical retail (full-price and outlet).
Retail operations governance: Ensuring stable and compliant store operations, including inventory and stock flow management.
Retail assortment responsibility (full-price): Steering of store assortment in line with commercial objectives.
Profile:
Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the fashion, retail or consumer goods sector;
Solid understanding of financial reporting, controlling and budgeting processes;
Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate financial data into business insights;
Hands-on approach, combined with strategic thinking;
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with cross-functional teams;
Fluent in German and English.
