We are currently recruiting an Assistant Store Manager for the new opening of a sportswear brand in Roermond.

For the exciting new opening of a leading international sportswear brand in Roermond, we are looking for a dynamic and driven Assistant Store Manager to support the launch and ongoing success of a high-performing, large-scale retail team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role from day one, contributing to the store’s commercial performance while embodying the brand’s active and performance-driven DNA.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Store Manager in leading, motivating, and developing a large retail team;
Drive sales performance and ensure the achievement of KPIs and business targets;
Foster a strong team culture aligned with the brand’s values of energy, resilience, and performance;
Ensure an outstanding customer experience on the shop floor;
Oversee daily store operations, including scheduling, stock management, and visual merchandising standards;
Act as a role model in terms of product knowledge, service excellence, and operational discipline;
Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous coaching of team members.
Profile:
Proven experience in a supervisory or Assistant Store Manager role, ideally within sportswear or performance-driven retail environments;
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and inspire large teams;
Commercial mindset with a clear focus on results and KPIs;
Energetic, hands-on, and passionate about sports and active lifestyle;
Fluent in Dutch and in English;
Highly organized, resilient, and solution-oriented.
